Hello Mobians!

Twisted Mobius is made in a software called Quest, which has its own little quirks and issues I need to work around, and I want to talk about one of the most important limitations I need to sidestep for this project.

Quest does not normally feature a "real" save system.

When you save the game in Quest, it actually makes a copy of the entire game, except with the changes you made by playing it. That means you can't import your progress from one version of the game to another.

This limitation is most likely because Quest's developers don't expect madmen like me to make games of Twisted's scale that would warrant importing data across game versions, as compared to a game like Zork where you can easily start over and get back where you were within like five minutes.

Anyway, point is I need to write a whole new save system myself, assuming that this is even possible. I'll look into it and try to have this implemented by the time the second Zone is available, since that's about when people will start needing a proper save/load system.
